Can someone explain to me why women who work late would be given extra money for blouses and knickers? Are the ladies staying at work all night and then working the next day too? If that were the case, I could see that they could go out in the morning and buy a new blouse and undies for the upcoming workday. The video doesn't say anything about men getting an equivalent allowance. Don't men ever pull all-nighters, or are men just more piggy?

too many psychological and circumstantial factors contribute too much for the mere sale of a common commodity to be a reliable indicator, IMO.
