problem is, local utility companies will tag your home as unsafe and
demand vacancy unless said stipulations are met. I.E. return to the
grid. It has been shown via testimonials on here and facebook by victims all over the place, even water catchers have been threatened. Its more plauseable to maybe slowly add solar and gradually deplete your usage. Maybe eliminate the use of Gas all together by conversion then gradually doing so... Maybe water catching in small amounts instead of large holding tanks. then filtering it in a 3 stage osmosis and or charcoal process. Leave your utilities intact though to prevent tagging. If ever questioned, all you have to do is unplug your solar pannels and your still on the grid.
