It is home to over half of all South Koreans along with 678,102 international residents. With a population of over 10 million, the megacity is the second largest city proper in the OECD. During the Korean conflict (1950-1953), Seoul changed hands between the Russian / Chinese-backed North Korean forces and the American-backed South Korean forces several times, leaving the city heavily damaged. The capital was temporarily relocated to Busan. After 1953, Seoul began to focus on reconstruction and modernization. As Korea's economy started to grow rapidly from the 1960s, urbanization also accelerated and workers began to move to Seoul and other larger cities. Russians were organizing the attacks on the S and Allies, they showed what they reall were. They should have been destroyed with the help of Germany in 1945 after Germany surrendered. We would have saved so many lives and damage.

It's USA that allied with Stalin Soviet, destroyed Japan and Manchukuo that had been blocking communists away, then invited communists into the Korean peninsula to establish the Korean war, to destroy the whole infrastructure that Japan had built in Korean peninsula.

This is a good video, but it fails to mention the strafing of the refugees by the USAF. The heavy bombing of Seoul was also done by the Americans. They also are the ones who used napalm. It's no wonder Korea has gone down in history as "a dirty, little war".
