Research: Immigration Isn't Good For The Economy
Economy | Information | History | Online | Facts | World | Global | Money
There's no doubt that there will be massive new challenges when welcoming millions of immigrants. An inflow of newcomers impacts the local culture to a great extent. These costs are often dismissed on the basis of future economic gain. But, there is no gain to be made by immigration. This is not the real reason why Western countries are welcoming hundreds of thousands of immigrants per year.

If not emigration to Canada, Canada wouldn't exist at all. So go back to the country from which your ancestors migrated.

I was recently in Italy & this crazy woman was telling me how good the migrants are. I was like you have almost fifty percent youth unemployment. Why give jobs away? Italians sleep on the street while Muslims are given everything in Milan. Unbelievable

immigration of skilled workers can help the economy but when you let in millions in a couple of years it becomes a nightmare even for long term immigrants https://youtu.be/2lxvrUxQWMo

Well large companies do benefit by immigrants being cheap, non demanding workers.
More workers, smaller wages, more competition for the lower income class.
We cant say to these people that speaking up in favor of their interest is evil or something..
We have to redefine our economies and decrease our numbers not import people like merchandise. -
Your anecdotal evidence is interesting, but what are the statistics in Quebec?
Is it really "mass" immigration?
