During the 2015 Warwick Economics Summer School, students performed the play 'Richard Fausto: His Rise and fall', which was written by the Department's Professor Marcus Miller. The play is set in the City of London amid the turbulent banking crisis of recent years and treats recent economic developments as a game of greed. It tells the story of a respectable High Street banker who learns to betray the trust ‘of those who trust you most’ so as to become fabulously rich.
