-
Much lol.
Very wat.
Sooo wow. -
Russia is going to be like saudi arbaia but ten times better.because capitlism came from the middle east,it talks about building house fondations in the bible too,and so eastern europeans when they become more capitlist would proabably rule the worlds economy right next to usa and back usa up more too then cause theid be allies with usa.

And probably run by Germany, (I'm not German I'm English so I am not being unfair) Germany have the strongest economy, the reason Europe would become a Fiscal state is all because of interest rates ect, The rates that are good for germany might not be good for the rest of europe because europe consists of many different economies, I.e Britain has the biggest banking sector in the world and the german economy consists of manufacturing manly. YOU CAN HAVE A MONETARY STATE WITH OUT A FISCAL SATE

I hate this on going argument between the US and countries in the EU! I'm sorry to say America but you're not going to be the most powerful country in a couple of years. The facts show that China are probably going to over take you in meny fields (They have in some already). And there is a possibility of a not just a monetary state in europe, but a Fiscal state as well. The united Europe would be substantially more powerful, I'm only 15 but this is starting to look like a real possibility.

its reality you idiot russia is already the second largest economy in europe by ppp terms and by industrial output
-
youre an idiot overtaking germany will also result in more wealth
-
@claton95 In less than 10 years time, only Germany is ahead of Russia in Europe. Lol. Didn't you see the trend?
-
@objectnumber273 you live in Russia now?
-
i have looked at their numbers and i can say they are garbage, they say in 2012 russia would overtake spain in nominal which already happened, also they state that russia would overtake italy in 2022 which the imf says will be in 2012 or 2013, i would only trust the imf data.

@ZKY2 That's not true, Germany was certainly a super power at the dawn of the 20th century as well. The US is still a superpower and only has been since the end of WWII, but it is true that American superpower status is declining similar to how Britain's status began to fall after WWI. My prediction for the future is that America will remain a very powerful nation, but Russia and China will be superpowers also, and Germany could potentially be one again along with India and Brazil.

@meronmotors that's right. Whether they achieve those goals is up to Russians now. Naturally Russian Empire was part of western powers before the revolution servered all ties. The more country moves away from its communist past, the more, I think, it will move closer back to the west. Like you said, we share the same ideals.
-
@Rexanglorum The united states only spend 5% of its gdp on its military. That is really not much. People think we spend have our money on our military we dont. Im willing to spend 5% for our safety. The USSR spent as much as 20% during the cold war.
-
@Zakio35 They said that the russian economy will be the largest in europe in 2 decades. they said a report was released stating russia will be the 5th strongest economy in the world. That russias ecnmy is growing fast and they give a list of booming ecomies. by 2019 it will be a gdp of the g7 countries and by 2030 it will have overtaken it by 30%

@uzer76 agreed, the russians were taken advantage of by terrible goverments. They have the land to build ther economy. They have oil, agriculture, very educated people. I hope they can get over there resentment towards the west, They should be our ally not our enemy. Communism turned them against us, We now share ideals.

@ZKY2 We have learned in the last 3 years that we are owned by china, we can collapse overnight because our empire is on wall street, for wallstreet to collapse all it needs is fear. America has come to realize our finest hour has passed and we did alot of good. If america disappeard tomorrow I would be satified to know we saved the world from the third reich and world communism. It was worth it.I hope whoever replaces us can be as fair as we were. (we were far from perfect but we tried our best)
-
@ZKY2 Americans thought we would last forever because there was no country at our level after the collapse of the soviet union. We were a hyperpower. I hated the soviets but I have come to realize that the USSR is what made America so great. We tried our hardest, we competed at everything we tried our very best at everything we did. When the ussr collapsed we had become a hyperpower. We had no competition and we started to outsource to make more money we no longer try weve have gone idle.

@raymondwr1 actually most Russians are very hard working, but when you have messed up economic system, that hard work pays very little. Now the better Russian economy gets, the more that hard work will pay. For example that is why people In the US make 60,000 per year just sitting at the computer analyzing data, because the economy is advanced and it pays much.
-
Yes, I agree with that.

Russia is in excellent position to become number 5, even 4. Why? Their science and technology potential is absolutely outstanding. But, they would be smarter to invest their new petrodollars in the economy, rather than in the military industrial complex. The military spending drag down under the former USSR, they should have understood their lesson. If they could just fight endemic crime and corruption now, the economy would bloom.
