Russia: Putin and S. Korea's Park talk economic ties on EEF sidelines

Russian President Vladimir Putin and South Korean President Park Geun-hye leaders announced their joint commitment to develop bilateral ties between their two countries on the side-lines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), on Ruski Island, Saturday. SOT, Vladimir Putin, President of Russia (Russian): "Certainly, the Republic of Korea is one of our priority partners in the Asia-Pacific region. We have very strong multilateral economic relations: energy, household appliances, electronics, mechanical engineering, chemistry, agriculture. There are large and very promising projects." SOT, Park Geun-hye, President of South Korea (Korean): "Until recently Russian-Korean relations experienced a big change, but the existence of our relationship always has a high importance. Close dialogue and contacts are especially important to maintain and develop our relations and to strengthen such trust partnership."
