Now for some background and updates on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting happening now in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The SCO is an Eurasian political, economic, and military organization founded in 2001. There six members in the SCO--China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. There are also six observers and seven dialogue partners in the organization.
