Who cares if free colleges aren't any good. What's the difference between a 'good' and 'bad' university anyway. You get a degree, whether you use it properly or not, you still have it.

Don't make college free just make the elementary schools, middle schools and high schools better in the inner cities and rural outskirts. Push for kids to go college and make trade schools and community college more accessible. Don't make it free because then everyone would have at least an associates degree which automatically makes you qualify for better pay. With more qualified people entering the job market with college degree it would decrease the value of a college degree in the labor market. IMO going to a respectable 4 year university is a privilege not a right. Kids who work hard in school and want to achieve higher and more advance learning should be rewarded with the opportunity to go. However on the same token the cost of in-state 4 year universities need to made more affordable to average middle class citizen. Because more often then not it is those students, who's parents make a little bit too much to qualify for significant financial, end up going into extreme debt.
Basically make University, colleges and trade schools more available financially, don't make it free. -
The real question is why College shouldn't be free. If the greedy elites cut back on military, we can educate our people without all the bs. But no we need to wage war, and monopolize oil to make profits. USA is so crooked.

Higher Education should be free and so should General Health Care. General Heath Care like annual Optometrist visits and biannual Dentist visits. Granted nothing in life is free; but still, shouldn't the government be helping the people they govern? Why not have our tax dollars work in our favor?

instead of bailing out bankers we could do college. instead of sending money to israel we could do college. instead of sending money to other countries we could do college. instead of 400 billion on jets spend 300 billion and do college. all about priorities and college is not one of our country's priorities. we'd rather blow shit up and give money away than take care of our own.

I think that making community college and trade schools free has been beneficial. At least, for me anyway. I'm getting a degree in Web Development, which will surely help me find a job quickly. I can only speak for me since I reside in the state of Tennessee, and I speak on behalf of the TN Promise program created by governor Bill Haslam.

NO! Why should we fund 2 more years of fuck off time? Now, we could do a scenario where only a certain grade point averages get theirs paid for, but I still don't agree 100% with that because people can find ways to cheat when they know the money will get paid off. Also, it's never free because it's tax payers who get ramrodded straight up the ass once again!

"Free" doesn´t exist. Reality is we equal "paid with taxes" to "free" . But "free" is an illusion. You always pay for everything, rather directly or indirectly.
