Correct me if I'm wrong, but even if the City won, the only thing Bennett would have been obligated to do was stay another two years, and then after that, outta here, right? And with an appeal, a city spends more money in legal fees, which could possibly bankrupt it! (I've heard of cities going bankrupt staying in court for a long time!). And given there was little to no political backbone to keep the team! (the State had no interest in doing so!), then you have a franchise that was going to move, no matter what.....!
-
Damn, look at that Clay Bennett crew cut, looking like Big Country! You can look at him and see 'we outta Seattle'.....!
-
The time is coming closer and closer until we get our supersonics back
-
KD should finish his career in Seattle, granted that the Sonics are back by then.
-
When the Supersonics got hijacked from Seattle, a lot of my friends stopped watching the NBA. It was sort of the nail in the coffin of a already rule change damaged and marketing driven league.

As a Cavaliers fan, I always loved it when we were playing the Seattle Sonics. The reason is because Sonics is just a really cool team name and when the game was in Seattle, the crowd always got into the game. I had dream of going to Key Arena and going to a Sonics game. But then Seattle got robbed of their beloved Sonics as they got moved to OKC! I'm joining the fight to bring the Sonics back to Seattle! I'm going to make a video on my YouTube channel promoting it! #saveoursonics

im still pissed about this...

I'm guessing nobody in Seattle shedded any tears when McClendon died earlier this year...

I hate Clay Bennent and David Stern

8 YEARS AND WE STILL DONT HAVE A TEAM..................................
-
Interesting documentary, I'm from Sacramento so I can almost resonate with what Seattle went through. It's too bad they still haven't gotten another team to come yet. One thing I thought was totally unnecessary was bringing up some of the political opinions of the OKC ownership groups. Who cares what their political opinions are, it has nothing to do with basketball!

I'm still glowing with happiness that KD bailed on that piece of shit, Clay Bennett. I haven't gone into a Starbucks since Shultz sold our Sonics b/c we all knew what he did. Commissioner Silver, we need a team!! Team or not, the Sonics will never be forgotten!!

sherman alexie was the best and most powerfully honest part of this whole doc. I cannot even imagine what losing the trail blazers in portland would be like.
