Russians made some good ww2 stuff too bad its all in other languages subtitles but this is full of russian exaggeration still done with a russian budget...they could build a decent tank with a few pesos ill give em that

Glad to see the Russians getting some revenge for the 1905 defeat to Japan. And please Russia, don't give those Kurile Islands back to the Japanese today - they have NOT learned the lessons of WW2 and are still incredibly arrogant and xenophobic (I live in japan, so I know their real thoughts about foreigners)

Do you know what's really funny? All of us "arm chair generals" (including myself) rant on and on about fighting prowness, military stratagies and tactics, political agendas, vile name calling and what not. When American and Russian soldiers met at the Elbe river they embraced and each heaved praise upon the other and each gave credit to the other for what the other one did. Maybe those rank and file soldiers know something we don't. Just a thought.

So Why does Japan lay claim to the Kuril Islands today? I seems very simple to name the islands one after another on a map so there are no cofusion later. Hell color the islands a differant color and include them in the peace treaty.

Without a doubt the best documentary I've seen on world war 2. Nothing can compare to the accomplishments of the Red Army. No wonder little is spoken of the Eastern front in Western education.

There was no need to drop the second atomic bomb. Reports were coming in from the first bomb and the high command could not fathom that one plane, one bomb and the whole city is gone. So they told the Americans to wait, but some how that got translated into no. So the high command sent some officers to document the damage, and yes one plane one bomb and city is gone.
