The world economy sometimes seems to be hurtling towards yet another crash (at least of credibility), as currencies oscillate, growth goes into reverse, trade deals stall, and financial institutions go bankrupt. In Britain, add the shambolic lurch towards Brexit into the mix and no wonder the markets are all over the place. One of Britain’s most brilliant economists, Lord Meghnad Desai of the London School of Economics and the House of Lords, might be best placed to explain where we are, and where we are headed, and it is an honor that this week he hops aboard the Sputnik. Professor Guy Standing of the Development Studies department of the School of Oriental and African Studies is a co-founder of BIEN which means good in French or Basic Income Earth Network, or maybe both. He campaigns as it says on the tin for everyone to have a basic income regardless of circumstances. I’ve never quite grasped what that means, so I, as well as you, might well learn something from Professor Standing, a pioneer of basic income who joins Sputnik this week.

London, indeed is the shelter of run-away capital, of former, failed and ousted military dictators of the UK colonial empire .
They were put in office by todays financial colonial powers US/UK as a result of domestic destabilization campaigns (CIA/MI5 NGO cover fronts) or covert or overt military intervention (CIA/MI5 military operations, UNSC blabla). -

On the neo-liberal and Marxist problem (both promote total central control):
Typically, neo-liberals are alpha persons, not very analytic or scientific, pseudo-scientific, who have worked their way up in the government or megacorp hiërarchy. They identify with their organizational status in the hiërchy and avidly believe they are above people who really implement and do the hard work.
To overstate the neo-liberal religion: management = god = the highest, best superclass humans deserving to play God.
Power is corrupting: Any human trying to play God (Communism, Totalitarianism, Mao, Stalin, Hitler) will turn into a Satan (see the Clintons). -
Karl Marx: Power is corrupting = Bible = A Jesus Christ may turn into a Satan. (See Killary Rodham Clinton, a massmurderer of Arabs).
Also supported by Socrates: moderation is key.
This has consequences for economic and monetary policies:
- regulated markets SMALL companies: foster competition and maintain small companies to marketsize 5%, strict anti-trust laws (no monopolies), split-up too big companies
- End the FED discount interest window: private banks create no money,
only invest trusted savings [100 % capital requirements]
– a public banking system is allowed to create new money(vertical flow), without incurring debt or interest, and this money needs tobe approved by Congress/parlement and spend on public project to create Full employment
– the public bank issues 0 % interest on mortgages (housing subsidy)
- Ban the financial derivatives trade: CDS, CDO MBS, and many others. They are fraud. Before Reagan they were banned.
- No more Billionaires: seize the Rothschild & billionaires assets to rebuild Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Lybia, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and all of Africa.
- limit private equity to 100 million per capita. This will prevent War planning and world war's by the Billionaires,.
