Story of Zimbabwe's Economic Recovery - Part 1
Economy | Information | History | Online | Facts | World | Global | Money
(www.abndigital.com) According to the African Development Bank, Zimbabwe's economy is set to grow by 5.5% in 2013. This is a promising outlook for the SADC country, infamous for a recession spanning from 2000 to 2009. It seems that the country has now rebounded and ready to shake off its past.

BASKET CASE
THERE ARE NO INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES THE ONLY OPPORTUNITIES ARE WHAT ZANU PF CAN STEAL -
William Smith you sound unlearned and ignorant. Land reform was very necessary and if you think otherwise, tough luck. We are growing as a nation and investors are streaming in at a blistering rate now. Only those who think Zimbabwe is still their colony are the ones with exactly the same sentiments as yours. Long Live ZIMBABWE!!!

There interviewer's questions are really poor. She's throws around economic clichés and fails to really critique what is happening in Zimbabwe. Why does Zimbabwe need to globalize? Who says that globalizing is necessary? Zimbabwe must do what is in the best interest of its PEOPLE. I wish my country, America worked in the best interest of its people.

No actually Zimbabwe is one of the poorest countries in the world does that sound rich. There farming industry will never be close to what it was they can't even feed themselves they depend on white countries to give them food aid sad that they were once the bread basket of Africa. They are lucky they found diamonds or the government would not be able to survive. Praise Mugabe a man who has brought death and poverty on a massive scale.
-
no, many whites peoples are begging to invest in Zimbabwe, with 51% shares own by Zimbabwe Government, 49% for foreign Company, so all Africa Countries will follow Zimbabwe Indigenious Economic Empowerment Programm, we are not South Africa , Mandela got it wrongs , blacks are poors, but Mugabe is Right, Blacks are getting rich and the Country .
-
Zimbabwe is a shit hole nobody will ever invest in that country because of the land reform sad a country that was once the bread basket of Africa can't even feed itself.

"infamous for a recession spanning from 2000 to 2009? 2009 may be right, 2000 is not. The currency and tobacco exports did not collapse in 2000, but in 2002, when the Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic Recovery Act of 2001 came into force. Inflation ended in 2008, when a dual currency system was introduced. Sanctions, not 'mismanagement and corruption' are what sank the Zimbabwean economy. And after the rebound... LAND REFORM is still here and going STRONG.

God bless Zimbabwe, if Zim was a woman, I would marry it. I love this country...
