Our exclusive interview with Supachai Panitchpakdi at the Warwick Economics Summit 2013. From an Economics student, not so different to many of us, to Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and now Secretary-General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi has earned the right to boast a stellar career. Add to this his previous posts of Deputy Minister of Finance and later Deputy Prime Minster in his native Thailand and his range of past responsibilities and experiences cannot fail to impress.
