The BCC’s Quarterly Economic Survey says both services and manufacturing companies faced a drop in domestic demand. The report follows a series of bleak data since the start of the year, with a sharp decrease in industrial output and fading consumer confidence. The survey still indicated a small economic growth, but warned of potential downside risks. According to the B-C-C’s survey, manufacturing exports rose slightly while services exports slumped to the lowest since the end of 2011. The group cited growing global and domestic uncertainties as reasons for the weak outlook.
