DONATE HERE: https://life.indiegogo.com/fundraisers/t-shirt-fundraiser-wvu-global-brigade-to-panama/x/9705504 40 pre-health care professional students from WVU will travel on a medical brigade to rural and underprivileged communities of Panama during spring break. This is a mobile healthcare service trip where each student has an opportunity to get hands-on shadowing experience with doctors and dentists as well as international service-based learning and cultural immersion. As you can imagine, the area we are going to be serving has very limited access to health care, let alone health care supplies. Although supplies like gloves, pain relievers, topical medications, and sanitation supplies may seem ubiquitous in America, in Panama they are rare commodities. Therefore, these simple commodities have to be taken from Morgantown, WV to Panama. We need your help! With monetary contributions, we will be able to purchase the supplies we need to set up our mobile health center in Panama. However, there is a fun little twist to this fundraiser. With a minimum contribution of $10, a printed Panama T-shirt goes to the donor AND a shirt goes to Panama to be donated to a community member. $10 buys two shirts, one for you and one to give away in Panama. The graphic that will be featured on the front of the shirts is featured on this Indiegogo. AFTER MAKING YOUR DONATION, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT ccrum1@mix.wvu.edu WITH YOUR SIZE AND LOGISTICS ON HOW I CAN GET THE SHIRT TO YOU (mail, meet up, etc)! If you simply do not want a shirt, please write in your comment NO SHIRT. Additionally, if a donor wants to contribute less than $10 or simply doesn't want a shirt, that is fine too! Any amount can help us bring the best mobile clinic to Panama and is greatly appreciated. If there is anyway you can contribute, the 40 students part of WVU Global Brigade would be indebted and grateful. Our goal is to provide the best mobile clinic we can possibly provide to Panama's citizens. Do it for the citizens of Panama, do it for the students, do it for the love.
