Indian filmmaker Faruq Masudi is optimistic that 9/11's scars are largely in the past, and that the perceived conflict between Islam and the West will shrink if "as long as we are sincere in our efforts" to foster understanding. Mr. Masudi came to Atlanta to visit relatives and to promote his newest film, "Quran: Contemporary Connections," which addresses stereotypes about Islam and show the religion's relevance in modern life.
