The Economics of Happiness: Crash Course Econ #35
Economy | Information | History | Online | Facts | World | Global | Money
They say money can't buy happiness, but who are they? Can money buy happiness? The answer is: sort of. While money may not be able to buy true happiness, lack of money can cause very real misery. Today, we look at the economics of happiness, and talk about how much money it takes to be happy. And where you should live to maximize your income-to-happiness ratio. Crash Course is on Patreon! I already watch this whole episode of economics, but where is the sharia economics? there is a department of sharia economics in some college here in Indonesia.
-
Thanks CrashCourse. Went through that entire series in about three days, and I understand what the heck my textbook is talking about a lot better now.

"Two things I asked of You,
Do not refuse me before I die:
Keep deception and lies far from me,
GIVE ME NEITHER POVERTY NOR RICHES;
Feed me with the food that is MY PORTION,
That I not be full and deny You and say, “Who is the Lord?”
Or that I not be in want and steal,
And profane the name of my God."

What a wonderful series! Thanks to all that were involved. :)
-
Thanks for the series :)

I'm quiet sure that if you launched a Patreon or any fundraising campaign for the sole purpose of the continuation of these series, there would be enough money raised for you to continue or perhaps you could do make these a paid series. Anyhow, many people would contribute money for this. Like so the content creators can view this comment.

how do you measure happiness then? by survery again?
-
I think the happiness of an economist is based on what clothes they wear, like this girl like to wear a lot of different kind of clothes, while the boy before this, really don't care about it as long as the belt look so obvious to others, maybe to show that his stomach is always full with the knowledge of economics.

Please if you may translate the videos into arabic
-
very good vídeo, but i was specting at the finish of the video some specific guideliness
-
Damn. That ending.
-
having 2 work 60-70 hours a week is pretty miserable
-
There is a dilemma though with focusing on happiness than economy. In order to provide decent healthcare, education, and military protection along with other social benefits for the happiness of the people, a country needs MONEY. So its a chicken-egg situation.

wow! when they first watch the video I totally missed her same as the end. all this time I thought it had just been missing the episodes so I came back to check and find out this is the end LOL
-
thanks so much for the series! I feel like I learned a lot that I should have been taught in School but wasn't.

Crash Course. I just like to thank you for making these videos. They've really helped me a lot with my A Level Economics Course (Studying in the UK). Your videos were very clear and precise (sometimes too fast but that's OK). Thanks guys and I am really sad to see this series come to an end:(
