Isnt it neoconservatism that wants to drown govt in the bathtub? Anyway, brilliant!

Is this guy a socialist sock puppet or what?

Communists in E Europe knew all too well that some sectors would have worked better in the private sector. However, the problem for Marxists - the private sector would introduce a bourgeois class, that class would then get richer and then in turn turn their economic wealth into political capital - i.e. buy up politicians. The reverse logic applies to Neo Liberals - they know full well that some sectors work best in the public sector, they just know that admitting that public sector does some things better, will embolden social democracy, give unions more money and more political capital - i.e. buy up politicians. So basically these are not economic arguments - but ideological arguments. What Marx would call a battle over the means of production - public vs private, unions vs shareholders, bourgeois vs proletariat.

Govt 1st priority is Corp. interest. But the Corp wouldn't exist without the people, the workers, and the customers that made the Corp.

Finance is a massive fucking parasite. Weeks is absolutely correct.

this guys an idiot, go take a hit of oxygen so you can think clearly old boy. The gov. is paying for all their covert opps. with drug money. If they can't afford their bloated trillian dollar programs they just print more.Besides being the most inefficiant manager of the citizens tax dollar. Their accounting prowess is unparrelelled in useless information. Remember the day before 9-11. Rumsfeld says they cant account for 7 or 8 trillian dollars, or something. Who does this bozo think hes kidding!

Members of small communities have traded among themselves without ANY government meddling from the dawn of time. Larger communities naturally stage a regular market and individuals may set up 'shops' from which to trade. Pathways and 'roads' develop naturally due to the passage of numbers of humans, animals, etc. on route to common destinations.

I simply can't handle this level of stupid.. not sure if senile or just wilfully uneducated.

-
Socialist propaganda at it's finest right here. Only parasites and the naive fall for this kind of nonsense.
-
This is confusing. If a corporation wants to waste money, they're wasting their own money, not ours. And maybe contracted work is more expensive than the govt. directly doing the work through government employees, but that ducks the whole argument about whether the project has any value to begin with.
-
"tenet" - not tenant - unbelievable.
-
there always has to be a balance. Some industries are best done by the private sector, some by the public, and some can be done by either or both competing against each other.
