In an ideal world, all the live long and die of old age, all have husband or wife and two
children. In such a world is really an ideal family with two children. But we
live in the real world where there is disease , death at a young age and
difficulties in finding a marriage partner . Therefore, in the real world, the
ideal is to be a family with three children. For a society to not died out to
2.1 children per woman. Let's count how many children should be the couple to one
woman in the society had 2.1 children . That is, in 10 women should give birth
to 21 children.
Suppose that 1 in 10 women childless , that is, 9 women should give birth to 21 children.
Further assume that the two women have only one child ( later married , health problems, divorce, and so on ), now 7 women should give birth to 19 children. Suppose
that 2 women have 2 children ( a widow , health problems , divorce and so on ),
now 5 women should give birth to 15 children. That is, 5 out of 10 women to give birth to 3 children.
When
calculating the number of children in the family can not forget that about 10
percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage , that is, 10 women have pregnancies
23 . It turns out that 6 out of 10 women will be have three pregnancies in time of the life.
Therefore, in today's world, the best is to be a family with 3 children. The ideal family with 3 children would be 5 out of 10 women (lucky women who married at the age of about 25 years old, have good health and a loving husband).
