The issue with the rise of populism is simply due to the lack of good paying jobs and flat wages over the past 40 years.
Ppl know that all the profits are going to the top and workers are being screwed.
The population is ready to revolt!! -
Not a word about Richard D Wolfe and his economic solutions about worker ownership of capital and Coops. Poor panel missing key intellectuals who understand the problem.

As long as they continue calling the existing global financial system "democratic capitalism" whatever they say is just a bunch of lies. Nothing about global financial oligarchy, nothing about global debt explosion phenomenon, nothing about multinationals, about political aspects of TPP and other agreements, about economic warfare and manipulation aspects of globalization... Free trade! Right! Populism my a...! I do not think these people are all that stupid so I have to conclude that they simply have zero integrity! Sorry, not interested!

Wikileaks isn't quite finished with old Hillary Clinton just yet... She might be in jail by November the 8th...

Bernie was a fake out, but Trump is actually radicalized. And now the MSM is pushing conspiracy theories re: the outing of Democratic Party criminality, the coup in Turkey. Desperate moves.
Brookings is packed with sold out apparatchiks. Notice how when they talk about more serious problems, the power of money is not even mentioned. These are the kind of people who go back and forth between government and corporations.
And Trumps distrust of "globalism"? The United Nations has not exactly been popular with the right wingers for a long time.
As far as "the US economy is not doing that badly", yeah, well, we know from the point of view of the Washington and NY elites, its not that bad. But its rigged. And it is pretty rotten right below the propped up (lied about) statistics. -
