featuring Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki Chairman and Founder of FGE Moderated by: David Pumphrey Senior Associate, Energy and National Security Program, CSIS The CSIS Energy and National Security Program is pleased to host Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki, Chairman and Founder of FGE, for a discussion of the global natural gas markets. As the low price environment persists, the debate over the impacts on gas production in the United States and globally continues. Spot prices have entered a long term lull disconnected from contract prices; European prices may remain weak for some time; and in the United States, many sellers are still planning to proceed with export projects. The LNG market turmoil will likely hit new heights in 2016 with so much additional volume in the market. How can the markets rebalance? What is needed to bring sanity to the market? David Pumphrey, Senior Associate with the CSIS Energy and National Security Program, will moderate the discussion.
