This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Much has been written about Millennials. Scott Tanksley offers a fresh perspective: how their ability to connect, care, and collaborate is becoming the next generation of marketplace, business, and social awareness. Scott is the Founder of Authentity, a company turning "do good" sentiment into strategy by illuminating authentic connections a company can make with its stakeholders. Part of Light Civic Accelerator, Authentity has worked with Fortune 100 companies to those just beginning their efforts. Previously, Scott founded Meals With A Mission, a grassroots giving initiative featured in Fast Company, and spent chapters in corporate real estate and ministry. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
