The Miracle Of Asia - Part 1 of 2 Directed by James Wiffen This is a documentary about Singapore, a country that has risen from a poor developing country, to an economic giant, in a little over 50 years. The main focus of the documentary is the people, both native Singaporeans, and also foreign workers who have relocated there, as these have been the key to the country's success. Singapore is a melting pot of different cultures, and this is highlighted in the film, by focusing on people from all nationalities, and all walks of life, and how they work together in unity, and harmony. This was made as a final year project on the TV Production course at Bournemouth University. Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfxNTUuUftA&feature=watch_response

FINALLY the USA issues warnings to it's citizens to not travel to North Korea. Can you imagine that? WHEN are they going to issue warnings not to come to Singapore? In the 1990's Singapore tortured one of it's citizens and they have tortured males from other nations as well. Sadistic Singapore savages that commit their crimes against humanity are no better than Isis or any evil this earth has to offer. Disgusting.

Dubai citizens hate him

But.......... the chinese instrumental in the bckground is soooo RACIST

which country of Japan and Singapore are more richer?
-
It's called very small government, low taxes, low regulations, and free trade capitalism with no government safety net = a prosperous nation. Prosperous even though it doesn't have a large land mass or many natural resources.
-
This third world dot on the map is known worldwide as the barbaric haven for sadistic perverts who endorse torturing males. To support vicious violence against human beings is part of the sickness that has infected Singapore society
-
Singapore is the inspiration for all its south east Asian neighbours.
-
Singapore economic success is because of the great leadership of Lee kwan yeuw
-
i love singapore and i am proud to be a Singaporean :)

And,,,the same argument can be made of you. If you want to buy into this propaganda bullshit that is your own stupid idiocy. So you are saying that only those from Singapore aren't misguided and disillusioned? Uh--right. Now you do not have to leave this earth to find a space for people like you for you will blend in with the rest of the cockroaches.
-
Wow... a very ignorant and blinded by hate goon. You're no better than the people you are accusing which is filled with misinformation, lies and deceit. Are you a Singaporean?. If you aren't, then that's more than enough proof of how misguided and disillusioned you are after being fed with propaganda by the people you mixed with. By the way, some western countries are building a spaceship to Mars. I advice you reserved a seat for yourself. Mentally challenged individual like you should go.
-
I wish I was so lucky to live in such a wonderful country like Singapore. I m feel so unlikely to live in the USA. The USA could learn a lot from Singapore to building a great country and nation.
-
I don't need to live and work in N Korea to know about it's repressive regime and the rest of the world already knows about Singapore's repressive ruthless thugs. It is obvious you are trying to hide the fact that this is an oppressed society with draconian discriminatory laws where males are tortured by paid prison perverts and the place has no social liberties. Any social order is fake, false, and forced and You are of course joking about harmony in this plastic bizarre Asian police state
-
Of course Singapore isn't shameful of its penalties-they BOAST about torturing people. How Dare they flogg anybody especially even non-violent trivial infractions. You say "It is an effective deterrent." You didn't know that torture usually is did you? There is nothing 'SAFE' about an uncivilized Barbaric place in Asia with inhumane savages running the place. How disgusting.
-
Singapore isn't shameful of its penalties. If you can't pay the price, you don't do the crime! its simple. Overstayers don't get flogged right away. It is only those who repeatedly overstay that get jail time and a couple of strokes of the cane. It is an effective deterrent, and it usually works. Spare the rod, spoil the child! hope you have fun in Singapore, definitely the safest country in all of Asia and quite possibly top 10 in the world.
-
both of which is incorrect. Marijuana import is illegal (um.. its a health hazard!) and if you do bring it in, you must be prepared to pay the price. Why do you need Marijuana? If it is for medical purposes, use it within the confines of where it is legal. And NO, no one has been or will be arrested for chewing gum. In fact, gum is back on sale in pharmacies.
-
Sandy, do you live and work in SG? if so, how long? it is absolutely incorrect to surmise that Singapore's policies are repressive. In fact, the majority of Singaporeans rely on the government's strict policies for our social liberties and social order. You speak of freedom. Why? there are laws even in USA that are draconian. Even so, you have gun violence, racism and crimes against young persons. SG enjoys relative harmony through tough policies which shouldn't be misconstrued as repressive.
-
AND, boys and men are tortured with barbaric floggings even if they overstay a visa? Pathetic and Shameful Singapore.
-
But Singapore is not socialist and does not take your money and give it to others...
