Wastewater from industry has accounted for 70% of the Yellow Rivers sewage. According to Bulletin of the Yellow River, a third of the Yellow River was severely polluted in 2007. Water expert Wang Weiluo says the Yellow River isnt the worst. The Huai River is even worse, he says. Other polluted rivers also include the Hai River and Liao River.
