The Political and Economic Consequences of Diseases

In this video of the Young Informer, we will uncover the truth behind the effect of viruses on key societal systems such as politics, the economy and the government. Diseases have attracted a lot of attention in the past. Recently, due to the rise of Ebola, a lot of attention has gone to disease prevention. The outcome of such programs are often unsure of. In the case of advanced economies such as the US and Europe, diseases tend to place less of a burden on society as enough financial resources are allocated at the time of the discovery as to quell it. Emerging markets as the ones of Africa for example, don't have the same opportunity. Once a disease spreads, they can do little to stop it. This has been the case with Ebola lately. The question is whether in the future, these emerging economies will be able to develop enough to fight diseases by placing funds into disease prevention and care. What do you think about the whole issue? How will diseases be cured in those countries ? Leave your thoughts and comments below.

Don’t forget Africa doesn’t have the resources to maintain a strong economy. No oil, no land, no resources, nothing..

Lets look at China for a second. Their working conditions are deplorable, I mean how can you know they wont be the ones who will spread a virus. I think that all these diseases come from poor working conditions. That’s where people are not clean and can catch on to these

What if diseases were in reality a creation of the government. It would hide all the terrible things they spend their money on and would provide a nice “facete”. Oh yeah ofcourse, here goes another 100 billion taxpayer dollars, since its for “medical purposes” its fine.
