The world economic outlook may be clouded, but the Australian financial markets are showing solid signs of a recovery. At MPS our focus and expertise is the resource sector and currently the markets are telling us the Australian resource and commodity sectors are improving, particularly in comparison to the broader financial markets, with copper, oil, zinc, nickel prices doing well. Stocks like BHP and many commodity stocks have all done well so far in 2009 and the Australian dollar has made a six month high against the US dollar.
