Looks like the next administration don't give a shit..
-
this is stupid. just got answers from yahoo. get a life
-
You lost me at, "the government is suppose to take care of us."
-
And if we don't make all of the stuff we will die out. Yes it's bad for the environment and the people around us but it's what keeps us alive
-
Role of government is to represent us.
-
Three things you can do right now to brake the system and demand change:
1. stop borrowing, stop paying back your debts, including student loans. stop paying your rent.
2. stop filing taxes
3. stop all unnecessary consumption, buy used
Spread the message. Can we get a million people to do this? Beyonce gets 20million YT views.
Bring the system to a halt, and place demands for change. When banks, AIG, GM, Chrysler were losing money they scared the government into bailing them out. You don't have money, you can't afford lobbyists and we all know that voting alone hasn't changed anything. What else can you do before it is too late? We need to organize, communicate through social media and websites, and set a date to begin. -
Three words of advice when shopping or in general when shown a new product: "Don't be ignorant". It's your fault if you fall into the trap that is not feeling happy with the things you have because they're "out dated." Don't buy things that will break in a short amount of time, that's what product reviews are for so you know you get a good value. And the thing with computers, there's a big big, BIG difference in that old CRT square monitor and that new sleek monitor. For one thing it's a lot more energy efficient and takes up less space, hell, even less resources and metal in that huge piece of junk. Computers are also something else, why would you buy a new one every year? When all the average user will do is social media, video consumption, and typing? (to be fair, laptops are getting smaller and sleeker, while maintaining around the same performance and are in general bad buys). And what is this talk about how only one small part of the computer changes every year? Did she look at every computer in the past few years and saw only what I can assume is the CPU change? You don't even see that with the cooling fan on. Hell, AMD's AM3 and AM3+ socket types have been around for so long that you could upgrade it to a newer processor of that socket type. And that's just consumer computers. The higher end does change quickly and advances rapidly but those companies (intel, Nvidia, AMD) HAVE to cater to their consumers. This computer talk overarches to most, if not all products. If that company does not make products that cater to the user, then don't use that company. Cellphones, watches, cars, anything. It's YOUR choice if you want that shiny new thing they have. And it's YOUR fault if you're pressured to buy things from commercials and/or pressure from friends. This is the information age when we can easily check product reviews, their manufacturers, and where they came from. It's our job as consumers to at least be smart with our purchases, and it is good to indulge in oneself every now and then though. We don't have to throw away our current system, for as the consumers, we're the ones with the power to shape it.

corporations are evil

Very informative and well thought out video. Thanks for the bird's eye perspective. I agree with everything except when she says it's the government's job to take care of us. Providing a defense and protecting our rights, yes. Taking care of us? I don't think they can nor should.
-
Great video. Absolutely correct. Even if her numbers were off by 50%, the system still wouldn't work.
-
That's it. We need a plague.

I think it was vrillon of the ashtar galactic command who said we spend our money on useless dross
-
Retardants? Some people in this comment sections must have been consuming them!

where did they get that number 1/3, if that number is right, forget this video cuz it is all over now baby, the earth could not possibly function with that number, think about it, we some how got too 1/3 and only now hearing about it, no wrong, the gov would not be panning imperialism with 1/3 lurking in the backround, right

I agree with most of what she is saying, but I don't like how she says it. No, I don't mean she's talking to us like children. I mean she doesn't show the research that she or somebody else did to get to these conclusions. That makes me want to not believe her and I think that it may, probably subliminally, drive people away from her views. Also, not to mention how old this video is. We need an updated version of this video with studies to back it up.
