1. Short JCPenny (JCP) [unprofitable company], Walmart (WMT, stock down 33% over a period of 1 year). Their stock prices have been depreciating tremendously lately. There you go, if you think that some retail stores are having a tough time and will continue to have a tough time in the future, simply short them and make $$$$$$

13. Most retail outlets are holding their own , PRESENTLY THAT IT, but as the people grow poorer and poorer and have less and less money to spend on anything but basic essentials, they too will fail.
    I am glad I work in the food business, while you can cut back on  clothes, trips, and other things you want , but don't really need, you can't do without food.
    I do know that even food will get hit, particularly fast food and expensive foods like steak and other items with high prices.  This is why I have a plan to wait out the collapse and get by on minimal resources.
    If I have a place to live , food , clothing and some form of entertainment, I can make it.
    I need very little and I warn people all the time to not to get under payments , to not get in credit card debt and to not love this "worldly system" so much that they can't make it when it's gone.
    It is gonna get tough, and you'll have to get tough to survive it.  The lazy, the weak, the  stupid , the selfish and the immoral will , likely , not survive.
    Here is a bit of good news,  a New world will come , one run by Jesus and a world of peace , no hunger, no pain,  and no misery.  That is something to strive for.
14. 14 years ago a British man on chat asked me why America would lose their industrial strength and become a service economy, when that had already ruined the economy in Europe. Anyone with a brain knew the industrial revolution in America is what made our country strong, yet we gave away our industry to China, and now only have low wage, part time service industry jobs. Then to make that even worse McDonald's, Hilton hotels and many other service job employers lobby the government for more foreign worker permits, while laying off thousands of American workers. Obviously they don't even want American workers to have part time, minimum wage jobs in our own country. 
15. Radio Shack ,Borders, Circuit City have bit the dust. Soon there will be nowhere to buy anything. Nuking the planet is the only way out for these parasitical idiots they're addicted to their fantasies. Just hope you live long enough to watch these fools play Sole Survivor the game among themselves for real

Last week I went to a retail store (rhymes with Beers) and looked at the items in the clothing department.  Made in Thailand, Made in China, Made in Bangladesh, Made in Indonesia, Made in the Philippines, Made in Sri Lanka.  When I bought a baseball cap made in the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of Vietnam, I took it to the manager to complain about it and he just shrugged his shoulders with a knowing smile.  I asked customers, most of them in their 20's and 30's, if they even ever HEARD of the Vietnam War! Answer was NO.  I asked them if they cared about all these clothes made in Asia.  Answer was NO.

The student loan debt has gone UP by $200 billion from $1 trillion in 2012 to $1.2 trillion in 2014.  The credit card debt has gone UP from $800 billion in 2012 to $1 trillion in 2014.  The number of people on food stamps has gone up from 52 million in 2012 to 54 million in 2014.  I see people "losing their marbles" right on the street because they are unemployed and poor or the working poor.  I saw a girl burst into tears when she saw how little her first paycheck was in a her very first job.  I saw a man pleading with people to repair their cars at a car wash and then get hysterical when nobody took him up on it.  I bought a baseball cap last week made in the "People's Democratic Republic of Vietnam" meaning they are outsourcing jobs to the "enemy" of the old Vietnam War. It is a Hell-hole, I tell you.
