Sorry to break this to you : India is not a fissile country, where people are ready to kill each other at any moment. Wake up from your British era colonial hangover and see India for what it is worth : a modern, secular and inclusive nation, where people of all the major faiths have been co-existing since ancient times. Of course in any rapidly growing country, there will be friction among groups, there will be insecurities among groups. But which country, as heterogeneous as India, has been even remotely as peaceful and 'one-piece' as India for such a long time ? One has to invent newer scales and paradigms to even remotely understand the complexities of India. It is not a simplistic 'fissile' state, as much as you may want to believe and define it in the traditional European contexts of small, homogenous nations

“If you want more of something, subsidize it; if you want less of something, tax it.” ~Ronald Reagan. Let's not forget our past the SS Politician (Whiskey Galore) cheap booze and its impact on society. The only reason that Her Majesty's Government cared then as they do now is no Duty is being Paid. Great Week's Preview you chaps at The Economist Rock it. 2 Yankee thumbs up, Thanks for your time my friends.
