2. As a single parent of 4 young kids I can agree with a lot of this. Unfortunately today societies seem more against giving kids a decent childhood. I contribute most of this to the ever growing self-centered mind set of today. Rather than helping eachother by being a supportive community I see more often than not it being all about ones own bottom line rather than the good of the community. In turn, your on your own. Grow up or be consumed.
3. Snowflake, I don't know where you grew up but, prior to 1980 most of us lived short brutish lives and the only way you survived was to be quick and have common sense. Unfortunately we've legislated the need for common sense away and now everybody thinks that they're due life without struggle. Survival of the fittest means nothing now and we are breeding a species that could not live without the government.
   Also your higher teen pregnancy is wrong, I don't know where you get your facts but, I'm guessing it's where you get your pronunciations.
4. I thought they would point out that more virgins are coming out of the younger generation, I think I heard then ever before, and that a larger number of young people have never been in a relationship.

9. Teen pregnancy rates are actually at an all time low (pun intended). Being more open to kids about sex and it's consequences and how to prevent that from happening also teaches them how to be safe.

I was quite lucky that i was intelligent enough to not accept drugs from strangers, but nobody was really very sexualised from the schools i went to, even though there wasn't really many people overweight, almost everyone below a certain social threshold, were bullied on a regular basis, but i'm just glad that i no longer have to go to school, as it was the worst time of my life.

I do agree that Single Parent households are a problem,a child needs both his parents,I also agree with 9,but not as a problem with our youth,but as a problem in general,I do agree that children and teenagers shouldn't have sex before the age of 15,but on things such as politics,if a child has formed his/her political views,I don't see what's wrong with that,I do think violence is a problem,but children grow up to be violent went they are beaten,so it's the problem on people who beat children and not of the children,well,on materialism,I do agree that the mindset that that is instilled that "the more stuff you have it means th more rich you are"but why should cimpanies put restriction?If the average american is 15k in debt because of children,then why should we reproduce?Obesity is not a problem og the youth,it's a problem in general,I do agree that more children are becoming fat,I don't know anything about education dispairity as that an America-only issue,shifting economy an America-only issue,poverty,not an issue of the youth,an issue in general and for the last point,look at India.
17. I don't think I've ever heard someone make fun of someone else for being poor(in school), and I've been to like 8 different schools. That's from preschool to the end of college.
