Tropico 4 - Mission 002 (001/003)

It's all about mining and the ore industry in this one. One thing I love about Tropico 4 is how diverse an economy you can build from mining. You can tap into Iron, Gold, Bauxite, and Salt and in many cases use those resoures to fuel higher tier industry. Of course, this doesn't stop us from getting in the Sugar and Rum business in this one either.

@xLisranda Thanks for the response. I downloaded the game and I did need a marketplace to store imported food. It just sits there at the dock I suppose if you don't build any. I laughed at the comically high piles of food bags at the marketplace when they are stocked to the brim. I like the game a lot so far.. but there is one thing confusing meg.. Why is the same-sex marriage edict under "Education"?

I don't want to watch 30 minutes of video. Don't take offense to that, I'm sure you did a good job on it and all that. I'm having trouble loading the video when I move the time bar so I can't skim for my info. For a salt mine do you (ideally) place it directly on top of the white area, or to the side a bit? Also, when you import food such as corn, where do citizens go to get it? The dock? Or do you NEED to build a market for teamsters to distribute food there from the dock?
