You sound like Austin Power.

TIP: If that guy is asking 20k for your independence and you have less than 20.000$ and you press the button to pay the money, no charge will pe applied. :D

When the pirates attacked and you clicked on one of your soldiers they said "war... war never changes" wich is a reference to fallout.

I love your series so far :) keep it up

I choose the militia. Maybe if every citizen helps defend our island then maybe they won't rebel later on.
-
im new to the game and confused my mandate ended and so did the game??

Sorry man for this, but I really don't understand independence in this game. I think that it means change form this to another one "World War (I think) era". Question is: Can I keep playing on this island, and if I can then how. Sorry for probably stupid question :)

"Edward: We're troublesome corsairs!
Bill: And we've come to steal your treasures!
Haggis: We would shoot you on the downbeat...
Edward: ...but we have to rest five measures."
LOL.. Great reference to The Curse of Monkey Island song "A pirate I was meant to be." -
Your so nice to your citizens raising the budget on everything, I just leave mine as it is and let my people live in poverty.
