people have traffic issues because too many intersections being too close to eachother
-
The research in this game hinders it. There needs to be a system in place to reward or hurt depending on policies and/or relations.

i am really desparated about population at modern times era. need help!
at '60s i have around 1000 people. happiness is 70-80 which is above carabian's. enough cash around 300.000. my people 're educated. and i have aorund 50 open jobs which needs generally uneducated workforce. everyone is at least welloff.
my constutions were milita. so i have lots of educated people. but change it to the no education for military and also tried the the one, prof. army. i chose open borders. i've done all "good" addicts to my people.
but when i jump the next era, i have a real huge emigration and no imigration. changed it to the "guarded heaven" but somehow still 30-40 emigrates and zero imigrate. crime is good. my i have a bit unrest problem. but i tried everything i can. my pop. is 1000 at cold war at 70s, and it's still around 1000 at even 2010s.
i gave them everything. what's the problem .:( -
I'm watching this in 2015 hey I love your videos keep the good work up. Also I like your city. :)

The reason you were having trouble putting in some of the metro stations down by the docks and had to demolish parking lots is because you had it rotated diagonally and thus it was occupying more squares instead of having it parallel with the roads and thus only occupying one. Love the videos, so helpful!!!
-
It was rather 'painful' watching you put in the metro stations on the angle rather than with the regular grid. They take up much more space that way (when everything is aligned differently and there were a few places around the docks and industry you could have put them in but weren't able to due to their orientation.

I like the village idea. +1 vte for that.
Also, maybe plop a barracks or two by the power/space complex? -
