The bell tower in churches is the front of the building, not the back.
-
Wish they added roundabouts in the game , would up the efficiency so much:P

These videos have helped me to no end Skye, got this free on PS4 a few days ago! Cheers
-

-
Just started playing on ps4, guide has helped tremendously great job.
-
for sure one of my favourite guides. Not annoying to watch and a chill approach to the game with in depth detail.
-
great videos, I have been following you videos, then i set out on my own. managed to get sucked in and end up in the col war. I should have watched all the videos first.

Thanks this is beyond useful

At the point where ya took more foreign trade from the us president .... i've always wondered what military solution would bring?
-
Wow... That's a LOT of teamsters. Don't you think you're overdoing it that early in the game?
-
Wrong. Healthcare requies college.

A little thing I do with roads is to put two roads going down to the docks etc.. With a single space or a two block space between them..then I can plant trees or put gardens in the middle.. Looks quite impressive. :)
Also I can slot in small buildings like inns there as well. :) -
"Police stations use educated workers..." LoL! Not in America! :p

Thanks for the video, Skye. Minimizing junctions is a good idea, I sometimes forget to think about those until it's too late. When it comes to traffic, I tries to have car openings (not sure there is a proper name for them haha) on roads that aren't used, so as to minimize traffic. If it can be helped of course.
In regards to happiness, like in Tropico 4, I always get at least a clinic or two the second I get into the World Wars era, since high school people can work the newspapers now, and the Revolutionists usually sends college people your way through rewards. Besides, I will take a little hit in my economy if my people can live healthier lives. =)
As for taking it slow with the Educated visa, its not much of a case with Tropico 5, since they removed the immigration office from 4, you're always gonna have over 15 immigrants coming in regardless. I always find this infuriating if I wanna take it slow and easy as you keep people on high happiness. -
The police station in the rich area needs upgraded.

Are pirate invasions enabled?

The Steeple on most churches is typically at the front of the building, so you put them in backwards. Don't believe me, do a google image search for church ;)
Also, in one of my last games I switched the military early on to Militia which while requiring High School workers, gives you a couple extra squads of militia units when someone/rebels attacks, so you're not completely defenseless when it comes to defense.
The reason I change military to militia/high school level is to ensure at least early on that there is a demand for at least high school educated workers, because Tropicans tend to only go to school if they expect there to be jobs when they finish. Whether such is actually necessary may be the subject of debate. -
I was wondering why do I have 3 roads and so much traffic?
Now I know :) -
:D
Can't wait for the next installment! Awesome vid as always!
