OMG CALYPSO!!! Make a proper city building game already. WE NEED A NEW CITY BUILDING GAME!

I know this game can do so much, I might have too high expectations.
First off, they need to increase the difficulty. What I mean is, it is too easy to quell protest, coups and I rarely see uprisings.
What I reckon there should be is, when there is a downfall of your palace - let us say you get ousted in a coup d'état. Currently you just loose, and reload a game start over again, anticipating the coup. That is boring and too easy.
My idea was you get thrown out, but the game doesn't end. The island comes under control from the new military leaders (coup), if it was an uprising (a new civilian government, perhaps they call for more foreign investment etc.) or if it was a rebel take over (you will hand over power to even worse leaders).
What happens now is, you get thrown to the street, you can't access buildings, change wages, fire people, build anything you're ousted, so you only have limited options. The game goes to a standstill, autopilot let's say.
The main objective is, obviously, to take back the island by any means necessary. For example, you can talk to people, engage in protests, have loyalists still supporting you, you access buildings and persuade people, maybe you install a coup by having loyalists in the military factions, you can pretty much contact any faction and persuade them to join you instead of the new installed government.
Then you can rise to a minister perhaps, or you stay rogue and do things covertly. And then you take back your Island?!!? How awesome is that???
Another thing to point out, I want to be able to have foreign powers to help me in dire sítuations. Example, invite Chinese/Middle Eastern/US army to quell protests. They build army bases on your island and the building is privatised including the workers. They do not take sides or join factions they are there to suppress violence, rebel attacks etc. They reduce overall respect and liberty immensely, although they only stay for a limited amount of time, like 2-4 years.
They need to add diversity.
My 2 cents. :) -
