President-elect Donald Trump visited Indiana this week to celebrate the announcement from manufacturing company Carrier that they will keep nearly 1,000 jobs in the U.S. He then kicked off his post-election "Thank You Tour" in Ohio, where he told energized rally attendees that he would come through on his many campaign promises. Meanwhile, Democrats continue to question the election results. Rep. Nancy Pelosi was reelected to another term as House minority leader, but she faced a challenge that raises serious questions for the party's path forward.

he only saved 800 out of 2000 jobs. 1300 jobs still went to Mexico plus he gave carrier a 7 million dollar tax break so basically he's paying them off so they keep these jobs here. This is like bribery. This is in no way a win for the American people this is a win for Carrier. I'm sure we'll see more of the same type of thing happening throughout the next four years.

Nice job Amy. Tough to step into a spot long-held by a popular person. Like your style. Good luck.

Sorry, there are better people to take the helm of Washington Week than Amy Walter. Go back at watch the PBS coverage from Election Night Nov. 8, 2016. After the returns started coming in that showed Clinton was losing and Trump was winning, Amy Walter spent the whole evening looking very depressed. How objective is she? Gwen Ifill's objectivity was NEVER in doubt.

Will Amy Walter be the regular host now? That'd be fine I'm just curious.
