Trump, the Economy and You

What can America expect from a Donald Trump Presidency? Andrew Mazzone of the Henry George School of Social Science looks at some of the tantalizing clues from Trump’s career and campaign, and offers some surprising forecasts. First, the speaker puts Trump in the context of postwar global capitalism and the movement of U.S. jobs overseas. He shows how Trump successfully tapped into widespread political discontent. Trump did not cause the inequalities in wealth and income that afflict the U.S. today, but nevertheless must confront the problems that those disparities have caused. One solution, Mr. Mazzone suggests, is an ambitious program of infrastructure improvements. Even building that wall might help.

I have great respect for Mazzone, but I think he is giving Trump too much credit here.
Trump's agenda is only about Trump. ... he doesn't care the least about his voters and the american worker now that he has got elected. He's filling the swamp with his own alligators and now they are plotting to get rich on that.
The chickens were unsatisfied with the watchdog, so now they elected the fox to run the hen house.
