A senior Turkish official said on Monday that the world's leading economies have narrowed down their commitments to boost global growth under a G20 plan. The countries should be able to demonstrate progress by the end of Turkey's G20 presidency this year. Turkey's G20 'sherpa' Ayse Sinirlioglu told Reuters in an interview that if the goal is achieved within five years, 2 trillion dollars will be added to world economic output. That's almost equal to the size of the Indian economy. Sinirlioglu was speaking ahead of a meeting of deputy finance ministers in Bodrum this week. Sinirlioglu is an economist and career diplomat who is the most senior official coordinating Turkey's G20 presidency after Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan. In a statement, Babcan listed several factors that presented a challenge to global economic growth. http://feeds.reuters.com/~r/Reuters/worldNews/~3/r4QOk7h4lcY/story01.htm http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by Wochit using http://wochit.com
