UN: Growth in world economy remains weak

According to a report by the U-N Department of Economic and Social Affairs, world gross product will grow by just two-point-four percent, posing a significant challenge for member states around the world. The figure indicates a significant drop from the two-point-nine percent growth predicted last December. The report blames the low growth on several factors including persistent weak demand in the major economies, the low price of oil and political challenges.
