most of the national debt is owed to the bank of england because we have to buy our own currencey from them . every pound we ask them to make for us comes with instant debt and has been manufactured to be that way so we are never able to pay the debt back . This documentary doesnt even mention that , instead it blames government spending and the welfare state, they may play a part but its nothing compared to what twe owe the bank for OUR money

The collapse has already begun. In my area two A&E departments have closed. You have to wait for over an hour to get unloaded from an Ambulance at Lincoln Hospital. My sons school keep going on strike because of funding issues. The courts and Police are no more than debt collectors for corporations. Roads aren't being repaired, they turn off street light at night, only pickup your rubbish fortnightly instead of weekly and now there is talk of going to three weeks.

This video is bullshit. How do you know?: the moment he said that UK government debt to economic net worth is 5 times.The UK economy is worth about $9.8 Trillion. UK private debt is about $1.4 Trillion. UK Public debt is about $1.9 Trillion. That's not even close to 5 times economic net worth. That's 33%.
As for debt to GDP ratios, national debt to GDP is about 90% and private debt to GDP is about 80%.
