actually corporate tax rates in the U.S. are higher then any other developed country. I am also curious to how much money the average American has compared to say 30 years ago. Even if the average American doesn't have as big a piece of the proverbial pie as before the pie could have gotten a whole lot bigger in that time as well.

So you seem to propose solutions for how to make the rich less rich, but how do we make the poor less poor? Why should someone think that taxed money is going to help them more than investment or charity (which is already heavily incentivized by our current tax system)? Open mind here.
