In a real war, you never know who is going to win, especially between Russia and USA. In my version, Russia could hold a US attack with their superior S-400, T-14, Su-35S, Iskander M/K and P-800. Russia could also use the massive amount of soviet T-80, T-72. Either way, we are talking of 2 massive military powers, and there is no clear winner. USA used to have the strongest army in the world, but that is changing now, americans are falling behind in military equipment, and there is no doubt about that.

First of all in any war especially a war this big countries will bring up their reserve force. In this case Russia will outnumber us by ~700000 men (~2000000 for the us ~2700000 for Russia). Russia has a larger fleet of tanks(like you said) and most of them are on the same level or better than m1s, Russia outnumbers the us here. Russia outnumbers us in ifvs, hoewer US outnumbers Russia in apcs. Russian AA that you mentioned especially if placed along the border will be impenetrable by the us, only a work of couple of sead and emp planes will be able to get some bombers through, but their are not going to make it out alive, because they will get detected and intercepted(1999 in jugoslavia 1960s radars detected stealth planes), it also means that most or half of the us ground to ground missile will get shot down. Us has a weak AA network(like you sad), if these patriots get hit by Russian sead or emps, it will cause Russia to use its ground to ground missile effectively. Russia has much and much more artillery(mrls,self-propelled guns, towed arty) than us. Russia sucks in navy, however us has no corvettes and little mine warfare craft, while Russia has a lot of em, Russia and us have almost the same amount of subs, meaning Russia will defend it shore line covered by a lot of ground based anti-ship missiles. Russia produces much and much more oil than it consumes, while us produces a lot of oil but consumes much more( in this case we don't have allies). American airforce is its main advantage, however when it comes to the situation like this, small Russia airforce combined with its AA and its interceptors (mig-31) will cause American airforce to suffer greatly. Russia can move its factories of weapon production behind the reach of the largest range us tactical missile and will still be close to the front line, while if us does the same thing it would end up on the other end of the country making this move ineffective. I don't think ether side will win in this situation, from what I wrote above I don't think that any of these two will even advance a meter into each other's land, so this war (in this situation) might be a stalemate.
