Video #4: In a Global Economy

To raise awareness for the tremendous opportunities that the Transatlantic Trade Investment Partnership (TTIP) represents, AmCham Sweden is producing a series of videos that clearly explain the benefits of the proposal in easy-to-understand terms. The videos feature interviews with representatives from the US and Swedish governments, economic experts and business leaders including US Ambassador Mark Brzezinski, Swedish Minister for Trade Ewa Björling, and Hans Stråberg, Europe Co- Chair for the Transatlantic Business Dialogue. The fourth video in this series - "In a Global Economy" -- discusses how international trade has changed over the years. It also explains how products and services today are produced and purchased in many countries as part of a global value chain -- and why yesterday's borders don't exist in an environment where people shop, live and communicate via the Internet.
