SUBSCRIBE http://dailycaller.com/2016/12/11/war-drums-sound-following-reports-of-russian-hacking-to-influence-election/ Journalists and senators alike concluded Sunday that Russia interfered with the American election and that this is an act of war. The Washington Post reported Friday that a Central Intelligence Agency assessment concluded that Russian-aligned hackers worked to get Donald Trump elected. The New York Times corroborated this report on Saturday. Senate Armed Services Committee chairman John McCain and Democratic Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, had similar reactions on Sunday news shows to these reports. ISIS fighters were in fierce clashes with Syrian regime troops Sunday in the ancient city of Palmyra, where the militant group infamously blew up temples and monuments last year, a monitor said. ISIS first seized control of Palmyra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in May 2015. Syrian government forces recaptured it in March this year. But on Saturday ISIS had made new inroads in the city, taking neighborhoods and key sites as Syrian troops focused on a ground operation in the city of Aleppo, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. Signs are growing that Iran and Russia are preparing for a new era of economic cooperation in which energy – among other sectors - will have a central role. Iran’s media reported that Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak would visit Iran’s Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh on Tuesday for talks on ways to expand Iran-Russia energy relations. This comes at a time that Tehran has already become determined to take its cooperation with Moscow in the area of energy to a new level following the removal of sanctions against Iran earlier this year, ISNA news agency reported. Novak’s visit to Iran would also follow a recent wave of energy project awards by Iran to global giants such as Total and Shell. Officials in Tehran had already emphasized that the country was negotiating the development of certain projects to Russia’s Gazprom and Zarubezhneft. It is still not clear if either of the companies would win a deal during Novak’s stay in the Islamic Republic. Officials have opened an inquiry into how a church in the Nigerian city of Uyo collapsed during services Saturday, killing as many as 50 worshipers. It was unclear Sunday how many people were injured in the sudden collapse at the Reigners Bible Church. Rescue workers have recovered bodies and injured people from the rubble, said Aniekeme Finbarr, a media liaison for Gov. Udom Emmanuel of the state of Akwa Ibom. President-elect Donald Trump has rejected as "ridiculous" a CIA assessment that Russian hackers tried to sway the election in his favour. He told Fox News the Democrats were putting out the reports because they were embarrassed at the scale of the election defeat. On Friday, CIA officials told US media they had concluded that Russians hackers were trying to help Mr Trump. Russian officials have repeatedly denied the hacking accusations. Mr Trump said it might have been Russia but it was impossible to know. "They have no idea if it's Russia or China or somebody sitting in a bed some place," he said. President Barack Obama has ordered a complete review of the hacks, which targeted emails at the Democratic Party and the emails of a key aide to presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Bible Prophecy concludes Russia, Iran & Other nations shall destroy Babylon with nuclear weapons in which the kingdom of Jesus Christ shall be established in the holy land of Israel after the great war.
