I just did my taxes all by myself. I would describe the experience as being close to going insane and losing my mind. I can see why government doesn't work. It's one big looney bin.

Excellent episode and interview with Mr. Rogers... and overall, I'm VERY happy to have discovered the series. Bravo to Sean and the entire team! My only criticism is that as an audio engineer, I feel like a little bit more editing of Sean's mild verbal mistakes would help take the production quality to a level that the show deserves. I look forward to catching all of the past episodes, and those still to come!

Great information!
Thank You Sean. -
Great interview Mr. Stone. Jim Rogers truly has his finger on the pulse. His observations about China are spot on. And, not only have they been investing like crazy in hard infrastructure, they have been buying gold like there is no tomorrow! How much gold does our government hold? Yep. And, as Gerald Celente is fond of saying, "America is in the business of war, and China is in the business of business." Business is that maritime silk road you were talking about. China doesn't want to rule the world. China wants the burgeoning middle class to support the central party. What will accomplish that? As Mr. Rogers pointed out, "Peace and prosperity." Anyway, thanks for an insightful interview with Mr. Rogers. Look forward to more from Buzzsaw!

Which Chinese stockmarket is Jim talking about being up 17% year to date because the Shanghai stockmarket is down 50% just in the past 7 months!!
-
Jim was talking about peak oil a few years ago. Well I hope he didn't trade according to that...

Excellent information

Jim Rogers is the best.

Great interview with Mr. Rogers; better than on CNBC. It is sad Sean insists that only war spending is causing the budget problem and putting those words in Mr. Rogers mouth. Government is not efficient at providing what people want. Much welfare spending simply pays people to not work. That lowers everyone's purchasing power.

How did Russia outsmart the U.S. in Ukraine?

And the consumption tax should be lower on products made in the USA to encourage and give a bit of incentive for people to support things made and manufactured in America. In my opinion anyway.
Great Channel btw. Got sick of the other channels I watch and I found this. Awesome stuff! -
maybe interview sevan bomar?

Sean, really dig this show. Does the 'Enter The Buzzsaw' segment have an email address where viewers can send requests for speaker guests? Would love to forward a few names for potential guest speakers :) Thank you, VB

Sean, thank you for having him on. I had heard him before (a long time ago, when he was divesting in India and building up in China), a sane and erudite man. I do wonder about the Keynes quote: "Capitalism is the extraordinary belief that the nastiest of men for the nastiest of motives will somehow work for the benefit of all," and how it would work in his open market scenario. He is, after all, a sane man, but there are a lot of people who are not so sane, and venerate wealth and fame exponentially beyond whatever makes them truly happy, so much so that they wouldn't recognize it if it hit them in the face. As an American abroad, I can only hope for the quantum leap, something to push them over the brink or bring them back from the dead.
