What happens to Ramu incase of a stop loss? Does he still get his Rs1000? Who pays for it?
-
So cows and calculus don't mix. Gak.
-
is this related to derivatives?
-
Oh fuck no
-
For those wondering, the derivative is the contract. Considering that the contract is a future, it has a market value and therefore can be traded at a certain price. This price depends on the value of the cows at a certain point in time. Simply put, a derivative is a financial instrument whose value depends on something else (assets, equities, etc.) In this case, the "something else" is represented by the cows.

Derivatives market includes assets (debt) in excess of $4,000,000,000,000,000.00 worth in loans, bets, futures, and options (amongst the wealthy who play with investors i.e.; stockholder's money... Stock market investors.. 401k, social security, etc... So... Do I pay or you? Who pays these guys that bring no real value to the table? This video has no merit on the books I've read on the subject nor the research I've done. A great introduction to say the least.
Here is your question... What would happen if the financial derivatives market crashed? -
But where's the swaps contract in the video?
-
Ohhh I get it
Derivatives are shitty diseased cows. Gotcha. So when my teacher ask's me to find the Derivative, I bring him to a field and show him a sick cow. -
so what happens when you cannot find a buyer at your stop loss level? or is one found when you set up a stop loss before the event?
Seems to me like a crazy way to invest, and the easy explanation as to how this current fiat economy will collapse entirely in the next weeks and months -
Now I get why every expert says derivatives are such a bad investment and are also bad for the market stability.
They basically take the speculative gambling part of the markets and dial it up to maximum. What's next, you'll bet on the number of black spots a cow has before it's born? -
thank u
-
So, exactly where in the video do you explain what a derivative is?
-
Have you also done a video on an Excel speedometer?
-
This is RACIST!
That white dude is blatantly mocking Indians with his lousy interpretation of their accents. -
this is related to forward contract, not at all future
