Sir Michael Barber, who served as an adviser to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, discussed "What It Takes to Transform Public Education for a Global Economy" on Oct. 2, 2009, in Clayton Hall on the University of Delaware campus. His remarks were part of a daylong University of Delaware conference entitled, "Delaware Education for a Global Economy: Making Vision 2015 Work."
