I think he missed the big point; Japanese culture, esp Bashido culture and Empire worship. The US defeated Japan- soundly, a first, it changed the national psyche, and keeping the emperor while transforming the govt to democracy payed of huge.

You can't easily say that weather Japanese hate or love someone. They heavily cover their feelings. They are extremely love-thirst people (this is a psychological term)

Because most of there leadership was never held accountable for the war crimes they committed, which rivalled those of there German allies. Japan dropped bombs to start a war, america drops bombs to end it. It is a joke that Japan thinks America and her allies should apologise for dropping the nuclear bombs.

The US didn't have a chance at invading Japan? Here I thought we had an entire invasion strategy, with the US pushing from the south, and Russia pushing from the north. Hell, we even created our own super-heavy class tank for this reason, the T-28!

See we buy from japan, we buy from china, we buy from mexico... It should be vice versa... & if it continues to stay the way it has been we will never get out of debt! & the Value of a dollar will continue to drop... Then the dollar will no longer be the national currency, which means we will no longer be able to just print $$$$ to pay off our debts! People can talk all they want about social programs etc... Its about bringing manufacturing back to america & making all these countries buy american product not the other way around... If we dont... 20 Trillion in debt will soon be 30 Trillion as so forth! You know how UK pretty much controlled the world pre WW2? controlled africa, India, Most caribbean islands.... Go do research as to why they went broke!!!! & its the exact same reason we are 20 trillion in debt & losing our grip of being the #1 world power!

i havent even watched this yet but they need us to protect them from China... Cause China really wants to Fuck Japan in the ass for what they did to China during WW2!!!! If China ever does get hostile, they will attack Japan & our fleet stationed there! So they need us... & they dont want to spend 800B per yr on military budget so be friends with USA & we will protect you... But this is also why I like Trump & its exactly what hes talking about... If we are going to defend Japan then they need to be giving USA great trade deals or paying us real good $$$ so they can beef up their own military! Its not up to USA to defend everyone & not get a damn thing out of it!

Everyone says how horrible the Atomic Bombs were but making a quick end to the war saved probably 2 million Japanese lives. In all actuality, when they fire bombed Tokyo, it killed twice as many people as both the Atomic Bombs. -

As a canadian i think that Japan is better than our southren neighbour USA. Although never been to Japan i heard that they have longer life expectancy than the U.S.A and Canada but if you compre life expectancies U.S.A Canada and Japan USA is the lowest with 78 years. Canada 81 years and Japan 83 years. That is because some americans are on their ass not doing anything just sitting their. By 2030 lifespans inthe USA might drop to 65 years.
