The European Continent is quickly becoming a sinking ship - but for Germany it's full steam ahead. Here's a question for you - Why is it that with the European Continent in recession and on the verge of a catastrophic collapse - and with unemployment steadily above 8% in the United States and economic activity just creeping along - that GERMANY is doing JUST fine? Why is that amidst a tumultuous global economy - where Greece has an unemployment rate of 18% - and Spain a 23% unemployment rate - the German economy just marked its lowest level of unemployment in two decades? How are they doing it? Tune in.

There is one mistake in this Video. Germany does most of it's trade with EU countries. They ALL have the VAT system, so it is not specific to Germany. However, look at it from another perspective: The outdated US tax code punishes US-Exporters. But this does not explain German success.
Germany always kept its strong industrial basis, while the UK and the US more and more rely on financial services and trade. The manufacturing went downhill. -

I believe there is a misunderstanding of German economy.
The Unions are mostly bought and lobbyists are running the government. Banks and energy companies write laws that are regularly passed even word for word.
Politicians help to find opportunities for big corporations to sue for tax payers money.
The economy is better than in other European countries because the Germany gained from their loss especially Greece.
German Banks and the German government made billions by forcing bad deals on Greece.
The Greece Gov. was forced to hold up the contracts for buying German Tanks whilst having to cut essential humanitarian services for its citizens.
The economy is doing fine because of massive wealth redistribution from the bottom to the top (this might sound familiar to some ) and the increasing amount of money spend on "public -private partnership projects. Studies have show these are mostly scams for giving away Tax money to big companies. Banks pay no taxes on income from investments in companies since 2010 if I am not mistaken.
There is soo much more crazy shit going on ...just one other example the ESM (European Stability Mechanism). The governing body of the ESM is above all law, literally. The members cannot be sued their assets cannot be seized or searched. They have the right to order the European countries to transfer money in any amount within 10 days The ESM cannot be controlled,regulated or removed by any law or nation. -
I do extrahous about 2/3 of the year..55h/week. Could we be a little less successful here in germany... please?
